La deuda como forma de gobierno y subjetivación en el neoliberalismo. Reflexiones sobre la culpa, el sacrificio y la desesperación en la religión capitalista

    A partir de la idea de que la deuda, más allá de su estricto carácter económico, guarda una estrecha relación con la moral y la subjetividad, con las lógicas del poder y el control social, con el tiempo y el futuro, analizamos las características de la subjetividad a que da lugar y el papel que cumple como forma de gobierno y control en el neoliberalismo. Aunado a esto, a partir de la hipótesis de Walter Benjamin acerca de que el capitalismo es una religión, intentamos poner de relieve la lógica sacrificial inherente al neoliberalismo y el papel que en ella cumple el mecanismo de la deuda.

    Based on the idea that the debt, beyond its strict economic character, has a close relation with the moral and subjectivity, whit the logics of power and social control, with the time and the future, we analyze the characteristics of the occasioned subjectivity and role that fulfills with governance and control in neoliberalism. In addition, starting from the hypothesis of Walter Benjamin, concerning the acknowledgment of capitalism as a religion, we try to highlight the logic of sacrifice inherent to neoliberalism and the role fulfilling the debt mechanism.
