Cytotaxonomic notes on some species of the genus Galium L. (Rubiaceae) collected in the North-Western parts of Spain

    En esta nota se incluyen una serie de observaciones sobre la citotaxonomía de siete especies de Galium (Rubiaceae) del NW de España. Se indican los números cromosómicos si-guientes: G. mollugo L., 2n = 22; G. album Miller, 2n = 44; G. fruticescens Cav., 2n = 44; G. uliginosum L., 2n = 44; G. rivulare Boiss. & Reuter, 2n = 22 y 2n = 44; G. harcynicum Weigel, 2n = 22 y 2n = 44; G. debite Desv., 2n = 24; y G. palustre L. 2n = 48 y 2n = 96.

    This is a contribution to the cytotaxonomy of seven species of Galium from NW Spaín. The chromosome numbers for the following taxa are reported: G. niollugo L., 2n = 22; G. album Miller, 2n = 44; G. jructices cens Cav., 2n = 44; G. uliginosum L., 2n = 44; G. rivula-re Boiss. & Reuter, 2n = 22 and 2n = 44; G. harcynicum Weigel, 2n = 22 and 2n = 44; G. debite Desv., 2n = 24, and G. palustre L., 2n = 48 and 2n = 96.
