Esta investigación tiene como fin describir desde la perspectiva sociocultural un ritual religioso de bendición a la zafra azucarera, realizado por los afrodescendientes en un ingenio de la provincia Cienfuegos en Cuba. El estudio pretende interpretar los significados de la ceremonia dedicado al principal proceso tecno-productivo y donde intervienen los trabajadores del central y vecinos de la comunidad, dueña exclusiva de ese protocolo perteneciente al patrimonio inmaterial.
This research aims to describe the sociocultural perspective from a religious ritual of blessing to the sugar harvest, made by people of African descent in a mill in the province Cienfuegos in Cuba. The study aims to interpret the meanings of the ceremony dedicated to the main techno-production process and where workers from Central and neighbors of the community, exclusive owner of that protocol pertaining to intangible heritage involved.
