  Background. The "ICF Core Set for stroke" is an application of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and represents the typical spectrum of problems in the functioning of patients with stroke. Purpose. The objective of this study was to validate this ICF Core Set from the perspective of occupational therapists. Methods. In a three-round electronic mail survey using the Delphi technique, occupational therapists experienced in stroke treatment were asked about patients' problems, patients' resources, and aspects of environment they take care of. Two health professionals linked responses to the ICF. Findings. Sixty-nine occupational therapists in 21 countries named 1,747 concepts that occupational therapists treat in patients with stroke. These concepts were linked to 347 different ICF categories. Twenty-three concepts were linked to the ICF component Personal Factors. Conclusion. The content validity of the "ICF Core Set for stroke" was largely supported by occupational therapists.

  Description. La « série de critères de base de la CIF pour les accidents vasculaires cérébraux » est une application de la Classification internationale du fonctionnement, du handicap et de la santé (CIF) et elle représente le spectre général des problèmes fonctionnels des patients ayant été victimes d'un accident vasculaire cérébral (AVC). But. L'objectif de cette étude était de valider cette série de critères de base de la CIF selon la perspective des ergothérapeutes. Méthodologie. Dans un sondage par courriel électronique comportant trois volets effectué à l'aide de la technique Delphi, on a interrogé des ergothérapeutes ayant de l'expérience dans le traitement des AVC sur les problèmes des patients, les ressources des patients et les aspects de l'environnement dont les ergothérapeutes se préoccupent. Deux professionnels de la santé ont lié leurs réponses à la CIF. Résultats. Soixante et neuf ergothérapeutes de 21 pays différents ont nommé 1 747 concepts que les ergothérapeutes traitent chez les patients ayant eu un AVC. Ces concepts étaient liés à 347 différentes catégories de la CIF. Vingt-trois concepts étaient liés à la composante 'facteurs personnels' de la CIF. Conclusion. Un grand nombre d'ergothérapeute ont appuyé la validité de contenu de la « série de critères de base de la CIF pour les accidents vasculaires cérébraux ».
