  Este artículo analiza el texto y la puesta en escena de El triángulo azul (2014) de Mariano Llorente y Laila Ripoll, homenaje y recordatorio de la heroica hazaña de los presos españoles en el campo de exterminio de Mauthausen. Para ello, cobra especial relevancia el tratamiento de la materia histórica, puesto que, distanciándose sustancialmente de las teorías piscatorianas y weissianas del teatro documento, la obra se desliza hacia un teatro-testimonio a través del cual florecen diferentes capas testimoniales que favorecen una nueva mirada hacia el pasado, pero también una profunda reflexión sobre el drama humano y colectivo desde un diálogo entre la realidad y la ficción.

  This article analyses the text and staging of El triángulo azul (2014) by Mariano Llorente and Laila Ripoll, a tribute to and a record of the heroic feat of the Spanish prisoners in Mauthausen concentration camp. In this sense, the treatment of the historical material is particularly relevant: the play substantially distances itself from Piscator’s and Weiss’ theories on documentary theatre to converge into a piece in which different testimonial layers allow a new way of looking at the past, on the one hand, and, on the other, a deep reflection about the human and collective tragedy through constant dialogue between reality and fiction.
