La Rioja and Teruel provinces have a rich and broad Paleontological Heritage. The conservation of these resources requires in many occasions the undertaking of intervention projects that have a remarkably complex methodology, according to the type of site or collection and the place where it is. Their conservation demands to establish appropriate intervention methodologies (performance criteria and protocols) and the development of strategies to control and ensure adequate environmental and exhibition conditions (monitoring, cleaning and protection systems). This interdisciplinary project aims to increase the existing knowledge on the subject and to enhance the conservation of the Paleontological Heritage.La Rioja and Teruel provinces have a rich and broad Paleontological Heritage.
