  • There are many words in our everyday vocabulary that we use so often we rarely think critically about their meaning. For me, the word scholarly fits into that category. We use the word scholarly to describe some people's careers, particular publications, specific presentations, or actual discussions. Sometimes we identify individuals as being scholarly.
