    La gastritis enfisematosa es una causa infrecuente y grave de dolor abdominal agudo. Está producida por la invasión de la pared gástrica por gérmenes productores de aire.

    Presentamos un caso de gastritis enfisematosa y sus hallazgos por imagen, resaltando la importancia de reconocerlos para realizar un diagnóstico diferencial adecuado y así aplicar el tratamiento más conveniente.

    Emphyseous gastritis is a rare and severe cause of acute abdominal pain. It is caused by the invasion of the gastric wall by germs producing air.

    We present a case of emphysematous gastritis and its findings by imaging, highlighting the importance of recognizing them to make an adequate differential diagnosis and thus to apply the most convenient treatment.
