    A análise proposta trata dos discursos e subjetivações do corpo feminino ao longo das primeiras décadas do século XX, e neste texto em particular, elege a cidade de Fortaleza, capital do Ceará, percebendo as construções e (re) invenção de identidades e discursos para o corpo feminino. A Revista Ilustrada Bataclan, periódico direcionado ao universo feminino que circulou na cidade nesse período, é analisada como fonte histórica em diálogo com uma construçãocultural e social que se pretendia moderna.

    The proposed analysis addresses the discourses and subjectivity in the female body during the early decades of the twentieth century, and in this particular textelects the city of Fortaleza, capital of Ceará, noticing the constructions and (re)invention of identities and discoursesto the female body. The Revista Ilustrada Bataclan, directed to the feminine universe which circulated in the city during this period, is analyzed as a historical source in dialoguewith a cultural and social construction that was intended to be modern.
