Resumen de O estilo tropical da moda praia brasileira e sua relação com o “mito fundador”

This paper investigates the presence of tropical style in the collections of some brands of large representation in the swimwear industry in Brazil. Through the perception of a recurrence of elements that refer to the tropical nature, discussed the link between these collections and prints with the founder myth – a speech of appreciation of nature built from the narratives developed in the colonial period of Brazil.

Este artigo investiga a presença do estilo tropical nas coleções de algumas marcas de grande representatividade na indústria da moda praia no Brasil. Por meio da percepção de uma recorrência de elementos que remetem à natureza tropical, discutiu-se a articulação de algumas coleções e estampas com o mito fundador – um discurso de valorização da natureza construído a partir das narrativas elaboradas no período colonial do Brasil.
