Resumen de Agricultura na amazônia legal e sua relação com o desmatamento: Uma análise a partir dos censos demográficos e agropecuários de 1996 e 2006.

  This work entitled "Agriculture in the Legal Amazon and its Relationship with Deforestation: An Analysis from the Demographic and Agricultural Census of 1996 and 2006" sought to address the theme of Agriculture, Amazon and Deforestation. The years 1996 and 2006 were chosen as the most recent census data published in these two years. It is known that in Brazil, the developed projects of the Federal Government have reserved a huge marginal erosion in the Brazilian Amazon, having as main direct causes in the deforestation of agriculture and livestock, mainly with respect to the logging activity. Our object of study is Legal Amazon, and the problem that guides the work and of knowing if the environmental impacts caused by the agricultural activity in the Amazon contribute significantly to the deforestation and its effects. And in order to respond to this problem, we contextualize the theme under the theoretical aspects and for the practical construction of this research, we consult the Demographic and Agricultural Census of IBGE.

  Este trabalho intitulado “Agricultura na Amazônia Legal e sua Relação com o Desmatamento: Uma Análise a Partir dos Censos demográficos e agropecuários de 1996 e 2006” procurou tratar da temática Agricultura, Amazônia e Desmatamento. Foram escolhidos os anos de 1996 e 2006, por serem os mais recentes dados dos censos publicados nestes dois anos. É sabido que no Brasil, os projetos desenvolvimentistas do Governo Federal reservaram para a Amazônia Brasileira uma enorme erosão marginal, tendo como principais causas diretas no desmatamento a agropecuária, principalmente no que diz respeito a atividade madeireira. Nosso objeto de estudo é a Amazônia Legal, e o problema que norteia este trabalho é o de saber se os impactos ambientais causados pela atividade de agricultura na Amazônia contribuem de maneira significativa para o desmatamento e seus efeitos. E a fim de responder ao referido problema, contextualizamos o tema sob os aspectos teóricos e para a construção prática desta pesquisa, consultamos os Censos Demográficos e Agropecuários do IBGE.
