Este artigo tem por objetivo pensar a poesia e o conceito de beleza até a modernidade poética francesa. Para isso, buscaremos verificar as mudanças ocorridas na concepção de belo ao longo do século XIX, bem como as transformações na poesia francesa ocorridas com Charles Baudelaire, poeta fundamental nesse contexto, que chamou a atenção para a modernidade, propondo um novo olhar para a poesia e para a beleza. Pretendemos, ainda, observar como a beleza é pensada e materializada em alguns de seus poemas, sobretudo naqueles em que ela surge associada à figura feminina

This article aims to think of poetry and the concept of beauty up to French poetic modernity. To that end, we will try to verify the changes that occurred in the conception of beautiful throughout the nineteenth century, as well as the transformations in French poetry that occurred with Charles Baudelaire, a fundamental poet in this context, who called attention to modernity, proposing a new look for poetry and for beauty. We also intend to observe how beauty is thought and materialized in some of her poems, especially in those in which she appears associated with the female figure
