  • This paper surveys the contribution of Ross Garnaut to the Australian economics profession, in the fields of Asia–Pacific economic integration, Australia’s economic relations with the Asia–Pacific region, the economic development of Papua New Guinea and China, and climate change. It particularly draws attention to his major contribution to economic policy-making in Australia and the region.
