    La entrevista recoge el pensamiento teórico, crítico e historiográfico de Ramón Gutiérrez, figura central para comprender y valorar la arquitectura latinoamericana de las últimas décadas. En el texto, se exponen sus opiniones sobre los problemas contemporáneos que aquejan a la arquitectura mexicana y argentina, así como los conceptos teóricos y jurídicos con los que Argentina enfrenta la valoración, rehabilitación y conservación del patrimonio edificado. Finalmente, el historiador argentino hace un agudo análisis sobre la problemática en común de las revistas latinoamericanas, de sus fortalezas y debilidades, por lo cual emite algunas recomendaciones que ayuden a superar los retos que la actualidad plantea.

    This interview collects the theoretical, critical and historiographical thinking of Ramón Gutiérrez, a key figure to understand and value Latin American architecture of the last decades. The text lays out his opinions on the contemporary problems which besiege Mexican and Argentinean architecture, as well as the theoretical and legal concepts by which Argentina tackles the assessment, rehabilitation and conservation of its built heritage. Finally, the Argentinean historian does a sharp analysis of the problems common to Latin American magazines, their strengths and weaknesses, for which he draws recommendations that might help overcome the challenges they currently face.
