    El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar la percepción de estudiantes universitarios sobre su papel en la minimización de impactos ambientales, aplicando la filosofía de CPS (consumo y producción sustentable). Se diseñó y validó un cuestionario; el cual se aplicó a 288 estudiantes con un nivel de confianza 95% y un error del 10%. Los estudiantes están conscientes de que es necesario optimizar sus procesos y hacer rentables sus empresas. Sin embargo, les falta mayor conocimiento en las herramientas de CPS para hacer los procesos más eficaces, eficientes y ambientalmente amigables. Es necesario que se cambien los paradigmas industria-ambiente para lograr sistemas productivos más sostenibles.

    The aim of this study was to analyze the perception of college students about their role in minimizing environmental impacts, applying the philosophy of SCP (sustainable consumption and production). It was designed and validated a questionnaire; which it was applied to 288 students with a confidence level of 95% and 10% error. Students are aware of the need to optimize their processes and make their businesses profitable. However, they lack more knowledge tools SCP to make the most effective, efficient and environmentally friendly processes. It is necessary for industry-environment paradigm change to achieve more sustainable production systems.
