Espacios y dotación de significados en familias de asentamientos irregulares trasladadas a conjuntos habitacionales del Estado.

    La presente investigación, tuvo por objetivo comprender las formas de re-significación socio-espacial, que desarrollan las familias de asentamientos irregulares, que se trasladan a vivir en conjuntos habitacionales del Estado. Lo anterior, visto a partir de un  estudio de caso, de un grupo de familias del campamento  Peñoncito, que pasaron a vivir al conjunto habitacional Villa General Bernales. La metodología aplicada fue mediante el uso de entrevistas en profundidad, más un proceso de observación participante, cuyos resultados fueron sistematizados mediante análisis de contenido. Los resultados obtenidos, muestran que las familias estudiadas desarrollan una forma particular de habitar, en función de su paso por  el campamento,  lo que condiciona su forma de adaptación al nuevo barrio, tanto en prácticas como en discursos. En este sentido, se reconocen tres factores relevantes. Primero, creen y valoran que se dio un mejoramiento considerable de su hábitat  y entorno, lo que ha generado un cambio en su forma de habitar. Segundo, consideran que existe una pérdida de relaciones sociales y organización comunitaria marcada por un fuerte proceso de individualización. Por último, entienden y se enorgullecen de que la obtención de la vivienda y desarme del campamento, fue un proceso de lucha, el cual lograron conquistar.

    The present investigation was set on course with the purpose of understanding the different forms of socio-spatial re-signification in irregular-settlement families which relocate to State residential complexes. All this was observed based on a case study of a group of families from the Peñoncito camp relocated to the Villa General Bernales residential complex.

    The methodology applied was based mainly on the use of in-depth interviews and a process of participant observation.  The results were systematized through a content analysis. Those results show that the families which were part of the study develop a particular way of inhabiting due to their times living in the camp, which in turn conditions the way in which they adapt to the new neighborhood, both in in exercise and discourse. In this sense, three relevant factors are easily recognizable. First, they believe and appreciate that their environment and habitat were largely improved, which generated a transformation in their way of inhabiting. In the second place, they consider that there is a loss of social capital and community organization represented by a strong process of individualization. In the third place, they understand and take pride in that the assignment of housing and the dismantling of the camp was a fighting process that they managed to accomplish.
