La obra "Meditaciones del Quijote" de Ortega no puede ser considerada solo "el primer libro de un joven catedrático de filosofía" sino las posibles maneras de "mirar las Cosas" con toda fascinación hacia la belleza del mundo histórico e infrahistórico: una mirada que mira las miradas, que contemplan la realidad de la que hay que ocuparse para saber a qué atenerse. Aquí el lector puede descubrir los latidos de la preocupación patriótica de Ortega por el vivo "afán de comprender" las circunstancias. En este artículo no se intenta desarrollar progresivamente la estructura de la obra orteguiana, sino simplemente proponer un conjunto de reflexiones sobre Meditaciones como "amor intellectualis" y como "miradas" el paisaje español, desde una perspectiva estética.

"Meditaciones del Quijote" cannot be considered only "the first book of a young university professor of philosophy" but also the possibility of new ways of "to look at the things" with every charm towards the beauty of the historical and infrahistorical world: a look that observes the visions, which contemplate the reality. Here the reader can discover the pulsations of Ortega's patriotic throough the "worry to understand" the circumstances. This article doesn't try to progressively develop the structure of the Orteguan work, but simply to propose a set of reflections on Meditations as "amor intellectualis" and as "looks" the Spanish landscape, from an aesthetic perspective.
