Resumen de Jurisdicción constitucional y política en la ‘República de Karlsruhe’

El artículo tiene por objetivo investigar algunos rasgos característicos de la relación entre la política legitimada democráticamente y la jurisdicción constitucional en la República Federal Alemana. Se hace recurso a la fórmula “República de Karlsruhe” a fin de definir una interacción peculiar entre el Tribunal Constitucional Federal y los órganos políticos.

The article aims at looking into some of the distinctive traits of the relationship between democratic politics and constitutional adjudication in the Federal Republic of Germany. “Republic of Karlsruhe” is the standard formula for defining a very peculiar interaction between the Federal Constitutional Court and political office-holders.
