Resumen de Realismo sucio: posibilidades y límites

Este artículo propone pensar posibilidades y límites del realismo sucio en relación con el cinismo. Se propone que el cinismo es constitutivo del realismo sucio. Fuera de su reducción a la postura impotente y pasiva, el cinismo se elabora como una actitud existencial desafiante al cierre de lo político al mismo tiempo exigiendo la otra relación con la política. Explorando el cinismo y realismo sucio como crítica fuerte al fracaso del proyecto socialista en Cuba de los 90, se establece la relación entre el valor y el cuerpo exponiendo la relación fundamental entre la biopolítica y el socialismo. Se elabora la necesidad de la crítica de la biopolítica y nuevo pesamiento sobre la cuestión de la vida. Finalmente, se concluye con los límites del realismo sucio, que coincide con la lógica de la biopolítica a la vez aludiendo a lo que escapa esta lógica. Por lo tanto, el realismo sucio y cinismo no son sólo reacción al presente sino también apertura hacia el futuro.

This article proposes to think possibilities and limits of dirty realism in its relation to cynicism. It is argued that cynicism is constitutive of dirty realism, and that, outside of its reduction to the impotent or passive attitude, cynism points to the existential practice that defies political closure at the same time demanding another relation to politics. By exploring cynism and dirty realism as a critique of the failure of the socialist project in Cuba during the 90s, the article takes into account the relation between value and body pointing to the fundamental relation between biopolitics and socialism. This article suggests the necessity of a critique of biopolitics and new thinking about the question of life. Finally, it concludes with the limits of dirty realism that coincides with the logic of biopolitics alluding to that which escapes its capture. For that reason, dirty realism and cynism are not only reactions to the present but also an opening to the future.
