    El presente artículo expone la caracterización del desarrollo socioafectivo del niño en el primer año de vida en el municipio Pinar del Río. En el mismo, se realiza un análisis descriptivo de la evolución del bebé durante la etapa, atendiendo a tres categorías fundamentales: Características personales del niño, representación socioafectiva de  los padres e influencia que ejercen estos en el desarrollo socioafectivo del niño.

    This article presents the characteristics of the boy's social affective development in the first year of life in Pinar del Río municipality. It is carried out a descriptive analysis of the baby's evolution during the stage, according to thr ee fundamental categories: the boy's personal characteristics, the parents' social affective re presentation and the influence that they exert in the boy's social affective development.
