    Este artículo presenta algunas consideraciones sobre la escoliosis, una enfermedad de la columna vertebral. Aquí se presenta un análisis de los primeros estudios realizados acerca de esta enfermedad, su concepto, etiología, cuadro clínico; y lo más importante, lo referente al tratamiento rehabilitador de esta patología. El mismo constituye un mensaje de mucha utilidad para el personal de los círculos infantiles y escuelas primarias, ya que la buena postura en los niños es fundamental para evitar el comienzo de esta enfermedad; pero además, una vez que el niño la padece, este tratamiento los ayuda a resolver un gran por ciento del padecimiento.

    This article presents some considerations about scoliosis, an illness of the spine. Here, it is presented an analysis of the first studies carrie d out about this illness, its concept, etiology, clinical diagnosis; and the most important thing, in respect with the rehabilitative treatment of this pathology. This article constitutes a very useful message for the day care centers and primary schools personnel, since the good posture in children is fundamental to avoid the beginning of this illness; but also, once the boy suffers it, this treatment helps to solve a great percent of the suffering.
