  • Cárdenas' city has among its more prominent icons the building of the Central Market. At the moment the property of 3572m2 of built area is only occupied by a bakery and some merchants that make sporadic use of the first level, the rest it is an area underemployed employee for the agreement of illicit activities and ludic. This state of semi abandonment is the fundamental cause of the state of current deterioration. It is necessary to carry out an intervention imminent engineering to stop the evolution of the lesions and pathological processes, reason for which is carried out study presently a proposal of intervention engineering of conservation of the Central Market of Cárdenas' city even keeping in mind their condition of cultural patrimony of great local and national significance, with the technician-conceptual challenges that it will imply it. For he/she is carried out it an investigation with base in the method of scientific investigation of the empiric type and other investigation tools that were good to structure the investigation in three chapters. Firstly the state of the art will be analysed with respect to the conservation of constructions with patrimonial value and the national and strange tendencies in similar constructions. He/she is carried out the pathological study of the present lesions in the property starting from the analysis of each one of the component elements based in the use of means organoleptic. It is also made a valuation of the technician-constructive state of the property by means of the employment of a scientific method validated in precedent investigations. As a result a proposal of intervention engineering is obtained being defined all the necessary actions, the dear cost and the sequence of stages of the work.
