Resumen de El protagonismo estudiantil. Su papel en la reafirmación de la identidad cultural local

  El trabajo titulado el protagonismo estudiantil. Su papel en la reafirmación de la identidad local se desarrolla en la sede universitaria del municipio Jesús Menéndez, provincia Las Tunas. El mismo parte de reconocer y estimular el rol estudiantil, como factor esencial en la preservación cultural del territorio, como vía ineludible para mantener la independencia social, frente a los retos de la globalización que imponen las grandes transnacionales mediáticas de la comunicación, y para lo cual se realizó un estudio transversal prospectivo en los estudiantes de tercer año de la carrera de comunicación social de esta sede universitaria, durante los cuatro primeros meses del curso dos mil ocho, dos mil nueve. Se tuvo también en cuenta la observación de las actividades curriculares y extracurriculares, así como la realización de entrevistas a dirigentes estudiantiles, permitiendo establecer una estrategia para profundizar en la realización de acciones concretas teniendo como eje central el conocimiento, análisis y promoción de los elementos más significativos de la cultura local a partir del debate y entendimiento del patrimonio tanto tangible como intangible del cual hemos sido depositarios y de la participación cada vez mayor del estudiantado en la Sede Universitaria Municipal, acorde con la política cultural cubana.

  The titled work the student protagonism. Its paper in the reaffirmation of the local identity is developed in the university headquarters of the municipality Jesus Menèndez, county The Tunas. The same part of to recognize and to stimulate the student list, as essential factor in the cultural preservation of the territory, as via unavoidable to maintain the social independence, in front of the challenges of the globalization that impose the big transnational mediatises of the communication, and for that which was carried out a prospective traverse study in the students of third year of the career of social communication of this university headquarters, during the four first months of the course two thousand eight, two thousand nine.

  One also kept in mind the observation of the curricular and extracurricular activities, as well as the realization of interviews to student leaders, allowing to establish a strategy to deepen in the realization of concrete actions having as central axis the knowledge, analysis and promotion of the most significant elements in the local culture starting from the debate and understanding of the patrimony so much tangible as intangible of which we have been receivers and of the participation every time bigger than the student body in the headquarters, chord with the Cuban cultural politics.
