  • [Jean-Marie Greindl] has been appointed senior vice president of global architectural coatings, and president of PPG Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with responsibility for all architectural coatings activities in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions as well as the US and Canada, effective from 1 March 2016. Greindl was previously vice president, automotive coatings, EMEA and president of PPG EMEA.

    Robin Lindahl, executive vice president and president of Outotec's metals, energy and water business, is to leave the company by 1 May to join Normet Group as president and CEO. Jyrki Makkonen, senior vice president of Outotec's non-ferrous business line of metals, energy and water, will head Lindahl's unit after his departure until a permanent successor has been appointed.

    Tim Knavish will become senior vice president for automotive coatings at PPG, and will continue to oversee PPG's Latin America operations and its corporate environment, health and safety functions.
