Resumen de Toponímia e fonética histórica no domínio galego-português: notas para uma linha de trabalho
The aim of this article is to show, through a small corpus of Galician and Portuguese examples, the importance of toponymic records and the study of place names as aids todiachronic linguistics, as far as the identification and description of phonetic phenomena totally absent from or hardly mentioned in other fields of the language is concerned. This accounts for their exclusion from specialized bibliography.
