  • The results of the 1992 and 1993 winters are presented. The number of birds found per kilometre is very low compared with other arcas (0.13 and 0.1 for 1992 and 1993, respectively), and no oiled birds were found. However, the effect of oil pollution should not be disregarded since oil is usually found on beaches and partially-oiled individuals of Larus uudouinii have been recorded.
