Vozes Sociais na Imprensa: a sociedade no noticiário político

    It is a sociological study, based on material published by major national newspapers which have national policy coverage. The study will be based on the following issues: (a) how is the public voice in framing news, (b) in which forums journalists give voice to civil society, (c) which are the social sources more listened by journalists (d) in which agendas / issues society is recognized by the media as a relevant political actor, (e) the profile of civil society that appears in political news. The analyses goes through the eventual simbolic effects on politics and the consequences of deliberate appropriation of certain discursive sources that act as representatives of the civil sphere. It still evaluates the most relevant effects in the long run, the formation of sensitivities, perceptions and insights of the population who is exposed continuously to the reading of these political news. These issues are seen as normative rhetorical constructions and not a menu of reality.

    Estudo de cunho sociológico, com base em material publicado pelos principais jornais de circulação nacional sobre política. Análise fundamentada nas seguintes questões: (a) como se dá voz à sociedade no enquadramento noticioso? (b) em que fóruns os jornalistas recorrem às vozes da sociedade? (c) quais as fontes sociais às quais os jornalistas recorrem com mais frequência? (d) em quais agendas/temas a sociedade é reconhecida pela mídia como agente político relevante? (e) qual perfil dos agentes da sociedade aparece no noticiário político? Analisam-se efeitos simbólicos da cobertura jornalística e as consequências da apropriação deliberada de determinados filamentos discursivos de fontes da esfera civil. Conclui-se que, em longo prazo, a imprensa forma sensibilidades, percepções e discernimentos da população exposta de forma continuada à leitura dessas notícias políticas. Essas matérias são vistas como construções retóricas normativas e não como uma ementa da realidade.
