  • An osprey Pandion haliaetus hatched in Mallorca in spring 2008 was recorded at the Salobrar de Campos (Mallorca) during the winter of 2008-2009.

    This is the first documented case for the Mediterranean of a juvenile not abandoning its natal locality during its first year of life.
