Data accumulated so far from transects on the island of Mallorca as part of Common Birds Census (SAC) studies are used to establish the population trend for a bird associated with agricultural areas, the Corn Bunting. The results, though preliminary and therefore subject to future and more ambitious statistical analysis, seem to show a decline of this species from 2003 to the present.
