The present paper has been obtained from our recent research on “the didactic orientation of the Franciscans’ translations”.
We have worked with a set of 22 source texts that were translated by Franciscans. We have found and identified the presence of “didactic tools” in these texts. Specifically, we have analyzed the following elements within the texts: prologue or introduction, “body text”, epilogue, “pots facium”, index, etc. The thus obtained results have been arranged in tables showing the numerical values reached in each analyzed “didactic tool”
