Every philosophy is systematic if by “system” we mean the will to unfold a consistent thought thereby giving humanity as a whole the measure of which it is capable and prompting human animals to situate their acts beyond the limits they regularly inflict upon themselves. Yet there is another meaning of the notion of system, a more litigious one. It has nothing to do with the general norm of coherence, but its discursive organization and its explicit stakes.

Toute philosophie est systématique, si par "système" on entend la volonté de déployer une pensée consistante, donnant à l'humanité toute entière la mesure de ce dont elle est capable, et poussant ainsi les animaux humains à sistuer leurs actes au-delà des limites qu'ordinairement ils s'infligent. Mais il est un autre sens, plus litigieux, de la notion de systpeme. Il ne concerne pas la norme générale de cohérence, mais son organisation discursive et son enjeu explicite.

Toda filosofia é sistemática, se por “sistema” entendemos a vontade de exibir um pensamento consistente, dando a toda humanidade a medida do que ela é capaz, e impulsionando, assim, os animais humanos a situarem seus atos para além dos limites que ordinariamente eles infligem-se. Porém, há um outro sentido, mais litigioso, da noção de sistema. Não concerne à norma geral da coerência, mas à sua organização discursiva e ao seu desafio explícito.
