Resumen de Fomento a la lectura de comprensión por medio de la biblioteca virtual y la plataforma educativa: estudio de caso en la Escuela Primaria “Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla”

El propósito de esta investigación es analizar la relación que existe entre el fomento a la lectura de comprensión a través de la Biblioteca Virtual y Plataforma Educativa y el índice lector de los alumnos de segundo grado de la Escuela Primaria Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, ubicada en Mexicali, Baja California, México, durante el ciclo escolar 2011-2012. El desempeño de los alumnos en la lectura se midió a través del índice lector, instrumento validado por la Subsecretaría de Educación Básica, específicamente por el Programa Nacional de Lectura, como parte de la Estrategia Nacional 11 + 5 acciones. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between the promotion of reading comprehension through the virtual library and educational platform and the reader’s rate of second graders from the Elementary School ¨Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla¨, located in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, during the 2011-2012 school years. The student performance in reading was measured through the reader rating instrument validated by the Ministry of Basic Education, specifically by the National Reading Program, as part of the National Strategy 11 + 5 actions. Also there was a conducted survey to the student´s parents to observe the characteristics of the research subjects.
