Resumen de Un bene naturale globale, ossia l'inizio di un'intesa ecologica tra i popoli

Anna-Katharina Wöbse

  • During the Twentieth century nature, resources, and the environment progressively emerged as issues of international politics. Not only the protection of the species or the distribution of natural resources, but also the complexity of ecological and political contexts, and their mutual correlation, have become an increasingly important topic for discussion. The political responsibility for the safeguard of life on a fragile planet became a typical topos of diplomacy. By discussing examples of real areas of conflict, the article analyzes the development of man's relationship to nature in international politics since the beginning of the Twentieth century.
