Resumen de Origen y permanencia de la santería africana en Cuba.: Lectura de Significados

El artículo realiza un breve recorrido histórico sobre la esclavitud africana en Cuba para conocer el proceso de arraigo y permanencia de la santería de origen africano, no sin antes aproximarnos a la idea que al respecto tenían los pobladores españoles y criollos de la época. Al final, culmina con una lectura de significados de algunos de los rituales y liturgias de la santería para mostrar su pervivencia y su valor cultural en la actualidad.

In the article a brief historical trip is realized on the African slavery in Cuba to know the process of rooting and permanence of the santería of African origin, not without earlier coming closer to knowing which age the idea that on this matter there had the Spanish settlers and Creóles of the epoch. Finally, it is reached by a reading of meanings of some of the rituals and liturgies of the santería to show his survival and his cultural value at present
