Resumen de La producción local de alimentos: su contribución al desarrollo local sostenible. Realidad ecuatoriana

  El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la contribución de la producción local de alimentos al desarrollo local sostenible, valorando la realidad ecuatoriana. Los métodos utilizados son: el histórico – lógico, de análisis – síntesis, de lo general a lo particular.

  La investigación demostró que: la producción local de alimentos contribuye a esta concepción del desarrollo local si es sostenible, que significa garantizar: una producción suficiente, estable, eficiente, y la seguridad alimentaria mediante el uso de prácticas ecológicas en el proceso productivo, para la conservación y regeneración de los recursos naturales; el análisis de la contribución de la producción local de alimentos a las diferentes dimensiones del desarrollo local sostenible permite valorar en qué medida el desempeño del sector agrícola ha tributado a la conservación de los recursos naturales y a la salud de la población; en el caso específico de Ecuador, el Gobierno ha definido entre las políticas priorizadas la contribución de la producción agrícola a este enfoque del desarrollo, y se ha avanzado en esta dirección, pero la realidad aún no se corresponde con lo que la sociedad necesita. Existen problemas ambientales que limitan la conservación de la agrobiodiversidad, la participación de la agricultura en el Producto Interno Bruto es insuficiente y la seguridad alimentaria no está del todo garantizada.

  The present work has as objective to analyze the contribution from the local production of allowances to the sustainable local development, valuing the Ecuadorian reality. The utilized methods are: the historical one-logical, of analysis-synthesis, of the general thing to the particular thing.

  The investigation demonstrated that: the local production of allowances contributes to this conception of the local development if it is sustainable that means to guarantee: a stable, efficient production, and the alimentary security by means of the use of practical ecological in the productive process, for the conservation and regeneration of the natural resources; the analysis of the contribution of the local production of allowances to the different dimensions of the sustainable local development allows to value in what measure the acting of the agricultural sector has paid to the conservation of the natural resources and the population's health; in the specific case of Ecuador, the Government has defined among the prioritized politicians the contribution from the agricultural production to this focus of the development, and you has advanced in this address, but the reality doesn't still belong together with what the society needs. They exist environmental problems that limit the conservation of the agrobiodiversidad, the participation of the agriculture in the Internal Product Bruto it is insufficient and the alimentary security is not completely guaranteed.
