Resumen de A blow to boundaries

Stuart Pimm

  • Pimm argues that setting global limits for environmental damage is a flawed idea that should be abandoned. Pimm explaines that the original boundaries idea looked at nine environmental processes affected by humanity, such as fresh water use, and the safe global limits for them, were one of those, the extinction rate was argued to have breached the limit of 10 per million species a year and was into tipping point territory and an extinction rate changes over time and is often far from global in impact.
