Resumen de Ancient skull from China may rewrite our origins

Colin Barras

  • An ancient skull from China is eerily similar to the oldest known fossils of our species--found in Morocco, some 10,000 kilometers to the west. The skull hints that modern humans aren't solely descended from African ancestors, as is generally thought. Found in China in 1978, it still has its face and brain case. A study published in April showed it is 260,000 years old.
