Estudio descriptivo, de campo, asociativo; diseño No-experimental transversal, dirigido a asociar la comunicación del gerente educativo y el desempeño de docentes de la tercera etapa de educación básica del Municipio Escolar número 5 de Maracaibo, estado Zulia. Se trabajó con dos poblaciones, una integrada por 21 directivos asumidos como censo poblacional; la otra de 333 docentes, se le aplicó un muestreo estratificado, quedando conformada por 181 docentes. Se diseñaron 2 cuestionarios, validados por expertos, con confiabilidades superiores a 0,90. Los resultados evidenciaron a ambas variables en la categoría media alta y el coeficiente de 97,98%, indicando una asociación positiva fuerte
This study was of a descriptive, transversal type using a field approach and a nonexperimental, associative design. Its purpose was to determine the relationship between communications from educational managers and teacher performance in the Middle School of Township Number 5 in the city of Maracaibo, State of Zulia. Two populations were studied: one consisted of 21 principals taken as a population census; the other consisted of 333 teachers. A stratified, randomized sampling was applied resulting in a definitive sample of 181 teachers. Two questionnaires were designed and validated by experts, evidencing reliabilities above 0.90. Findings showed both variables in the medium high category and a coefficient of 97.98%, a figure indicating a strong positive association.
