Resumen de Los maestros en la construcción de la sociedad del conocimiento en Venezuela

  En el presente artículo se muestra y compara el uso de Internet por parte de los maestros de Educación Básica del lero hasta el 6to nivel con otros gremios profesionales. Dicho estudio se realizó en el Municipio Maracaibo con la finalidad de determinar el tiempo, uso, rechazo y disposición para iniciar un nuevo proceso de aprendizaje en el manejo de Internet propuesto en el decreto 825 emanado por el Ministerio de Cultura y deporte. Tomando en cuenta los resultados se infieren las posibilidades que posee la sociedad venezolana de insertarse metódica y sistemáticamente en la sociedad del conocimiento de acuerdo a los estándares programados por el Estado Venezolano. Como resultado de esta investigación se observo en la muestra tomada que el 85% de los maestros son analfabetas computacionales, por lo tanto, se recomienda determinar con mayor exactitud su verdadero perfil para establecer políticas educativas teleinformáticas ajustadas a la realidad del docente venezolano.

  In the present article the use of Internet is explained and compared by teachers of Basic Education from the 1st to the 6th level in relation to other professional labor groups. The study was realized in the Municipality of Maracaibo for the purpose of determining usage time, use, rejection of or disposition towards initiating the new leaming process in the managing of Internet proposed in Decree 825 issued by the Ministry of Culture and Sport Taking into account the results obtained, the possibilities that Venezuelan society has of inserting itself methodically and systematically into the society of knowledge according to the standards programmed by the Venezuelan State can be inferred. As result of this investigation we find that in the population sample( 85 % of the teachers are computationally illiterate, and therefore the need to establish a true profile with greater accuracy is recornmended in order to establish educacional tele-informational policy in accordance with the reality of the Venezuelan teacher.
