  • Resumen
    • Hamzelou comments on how the US can learn to live with its guns. In the US, gun control is so heavily politicised that a ban is impossible any time soon, wherein gun violence is responsible for several deaths in the US each year. So if the nation can't address the cause of its firearms epidemic, it must treat the symptoms. People need to be able to study which interventions produce the most beneficial outcomes that played a key role in limiting harmful effects of cars and tobacco. Moreover, focusing on ways to reduce gun suicides include, gun sellers can take an active role and doctors also have a part to play, says David Hemenway at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
