  • Resumen
    • An article discussing the political use of the concept of "community" by the New Labour political party when in control of the government of Great Britain is presented. The author examines the impact of community building and urban regeneration in Great Britain, noting a possible disregard for the unique sociodemographic characteristics of localized neighborhoods. The history of the politicization of the concept of "community," the impact of territorialization on local governments, and the sustainability of synthetically engineered neighborhoods are also addressed.
