    • According to a report published this year by MarketsandMarkets, Advanced ceramics market by material, class, end-use industry and region - global forecast to 2021, the market is forecast to grow from $7.15bn in 2015 to $10.41bn by 2021 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.5%. Speaking during a recent webcast arranged ahead of the Ceramics Expo conference this year, Gary Fischman, principal and owner of Future Strategy Solutions, discussed the regulatory framework for medical-grade ceramics and glass in the US, which is regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA approval process falls on the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), who will most likely work together with the ceramic or glass material producer.
