Resumen de Enfermedades en mazatlán durante el siglo xix

El presente trabajo analiza las condiciones sanitarias en la ciudad-puerto de Mazatlán durante el siglo XIX, así como las principales enfermedades o padecimientos que aquejaron a la población residente y flotante del núcleo poblacional sinaloense, como el cólera y la fiebre amarilla, diezmaron a la población en distintos momentos, siendo noticia nacional e internacional, por la importancia de Mazatlán. Aspectos como los médicos y curanderos, remedios naturales y farmacéuticos empleados para mitigar los padecimientos cotidianos y extraordinarios, figuran en el análisis del trabajo.

The present work analyzes sanitary conditions in the cityport of Mazatlan during the 19th century, as well as the main illnesses or illnesses that afflicted the resident and floating population of the Sinaloa population nucleus, such as cholera and yellow fever, decimated the population at different times, being national and international news, for the importance of Mazatlan. Aspects such as doctors and healers, natural remedies and pharmaceuticals used to mitigate daily and extraordinary suffering, are included in the analysis of the work.
