    El objetivo principal de este trabajo es dar a conocer dichas actuaciones demostrando la importancia y responsabilidad que tiene nuestra profesión en este ámbito. Los cuidados de enfermería en RM se centran en la necesidad de conocer las bases de obtención de la imagen diagnóstica, sus principales características, y los cuidados ante/durante/después de la misma, además de las contraindicaciones e inconvenientes que pueden tener para el paciente. Este trabajo estará sustentado sobre dos pilares: la actuación de Enfermería en RM y el manejo de los mecanismos por los que la RM puede dañar al paciente. Dentro de la primera fase, los profesionales de enfermería deberán informar al paciente de la prueba a la que se van a someter, recabarán, asimismo, información sobre el paciente y dirigirán los cuidados específicos que entre ellos se encuentra la administrarán del contraste. En la segunda vertiente se encuentran los mecanismos por los que la Resonancia Magnética puede dañar al paciente, e irá encaminada a prevención y a cómo debe ser el uso de esta prueba diagnóstica cuando se porta algunos objetos especialmente metálicos.

    The main objective of this paper is to present these actions demonstrate the importance and respo nsibility of our profession in this area. Nursing care in MRI focus on the need to know the basics of obtaining diagnostic imaging, its main characteristics, and care before / during / after the same, in addition to the contraindications and disadvantages they may have to the patient. This work is supported on two pillars: RM Nursing performance and management of the mechanisms by which the RM can harm the patient. In the first phase, nurses must inform the patient of the test that are undergoing, also gather information about the patient and direct specific care including contrast is administered. In the second aspect are the mechanisms by which MRI can harm the patient, and shall be aimed at prevention and how it should be the use of this diagnostic test when some particularly carrying metal objects.
