    El Tribunal Supremo de Italia (Corte di Cassazione), ha dictado sentencia el 24 de septiembre de 2014 acerca de la confiscación de 4 delfines procedentes del Delfinario de Rímini, llevada a cabo por la Policia italiana de Medioambiente y ordenada por el Defensor Público de Rímini en Agosto de 2013. Dicha sentencia, confirma por primera vez en Europa el maltrato de delfines en una empresa privada dedicada a su exhibición en público.

    The Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) on the 24 September 2014, has deposited the sentence about the confiscation of the 4 dolphins that had been carried away from the Rimini Dolphinarium from the Italian environmental police (Corpo Forestale dello Stato) and the Rimini Public Prosecutor in the august 2013, confirming the confiscation of the animal, the first time in Europe we talk about mistreatment of dolphins in a private structure.
