  • Three new fast radio bursts have been seen flashing from space, and one is the brightest ever spotted. The first was spotted on Mar 1 by the Breakthrough Listen project. The second and third were seen on Mar 9 and 11 by a team led by Stefan Oslowski at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. The findings were reported on The Astronomer's Telegram, a website where astronomers post sightings of short-lived cosmic events.
