    Se da a conocer por primera vez en Colombia la presencia de un Pycnodontiforme que puede atribuirse en forma tentativa a Macromesodon Couloni (Agassiz). La edad correspondería al Barremiense-Aptiense.

    It is the first time that the existence of a Pycnodontidae which can be approximately attributed to Macromesodon Couloni (Agassiz) is described in Colombia. The age would correspond to the Barremian-Aptian.
