A importância da aprendizagem da Gramática e da Escrita - o uso do laboratório gramatical

    Este estudo, de natureza qualitativa, emergiu da prática letiva e versa sobre a relação entre o conhecimento gramatical e a expressão escrita, no 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, em Portugal.

    Considerando a importância atribuída à escrita na vida dos cidadãos, assim como o relevo conferido à aprendizagem da Escrita e da Gramática pelos documentos norteadores do ensino, são nossos objetivos: i) Analisar o Programa e Metas Curriculares de Português do Ensino Básico (2015), no que refere ao ensino da Escrita e da Gramática; ii) Evidenciar, através de uma revisão de literatura, a relação existente entre os dois domínios; iii) Propor o laboratório gramatical como metodologia para o ensino-aprendizagem. Os resultados demonstram uma articulação entre Escrita e Gramática nos documentos oficiais, sendo esta promotora do conhecimento fundamental para a integração dos indivíduos na vida ativa, bem como a vantagem da utilização do uso do laboratório gramatical para a aprendizagem.

    This study, with a qualitative approach, emerged from our own teaching practice and concerns to the relationship between grammatical knowledge and writing expression, in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education, in Portugal. Whereas the development of writing ability is particularly important in every citizen’s life and being aware of the importance given to learning areas such Writing and Grammar by guiding documents of education, we have designed the following objectives: i) To analyse the Portuguese Program and Curricular Goals of Basic Education (2015), regarding the teaching of Writing and Grammar; ii) To demonstrate, through literature review, the relationship between the two domains;

    iii) To propose the use of grammar laboratories as a methodology to articulate the process of teaching and learning grammar and writing. The results show that the guiding documents of the pedagogical practice, in Portugal, demonstrate an effective link between Writing and Grammar; that the relationship between these two areas promotes knowledge that it is essential to the integration of any individual in the active life; that the use of grammatical laboratories revels to be advantageous for a better learning.
