When looking at the emerald eyes of the yellow pygmy goby (Lubricogobius exiguus) it appear to have a distinct otherworldly feel. Photographer Tony Wu found this particular fish sitting near the opening of a small hole in the sand at a depth of 21 metres, near the south-western tip of Shikoku Island in Japan. To highlight the emerald eyes of the goby against the yellow of its body, Wu used a constant light rather than an underwaterf flash.
