El presente trabajo muestra un acercamiento a los impactos de las relaciones bilaterales entre la República de Cuba y el Estado Canadiense hasta la época actual en la industria niquelífera como una alternativa de desarrollo sustentable en la comunidad minera de Moa. Constituye un intento de abordar una crítica a la visión positivista de analizar el desarrollo de la ciencia y la tecnología y su impacto en la sociedad. Es una búsqueda de respuestas al desarrollo de la minería desde la óptica de las tendencias más importantes que han caracterizado estas relaciones y los momentos más significativos pero con una mirada diferente.

The present work shows an approach to the impacts of the bilateral relationships between the Republic of Cuba and the Canadian State until the current time in the Nickel industry like an alternative of sustainable development in the mining community of Moa. It constitutes an intent of approaching a critic to the vision positivist of analyzing the development of the science and the technology and their impact in the society. It is a search of answers to the development of the mining from the optics of the most important tendencies that you/they have characterized these relationships and the most significant moments but with a different look.
